Dual Enrollment vs. Dual Credit
It is important to know there is a difference between dual enrollment and dual credit. Dual enrollment is earning college credit while you are still enrolled in high school. Dual credit is having your Spring Arbor course credits apply to your high school credit requirements. If you're interested in earning dual credits, please contact your high school to make certain they are approving dual credit.
Admissions Requirements
High School Dual Enrollment students must:
- Be in high school grade or equivalent
- Have a GPA of at least 3.0
- Designate a school official or parent as a mentor.
Applicants should submit the following materials:
- A high school transcript (first-time students only)
- Registration Request
Dual enrollment students must earn grades of “C” or better in order to remain in the program.
Semester Deadlines
Fall Term - August 15th | Spring Term - January 15th
The approximate deadline to sign up for courses is two weeks before the start of the course. For a list of available courses and the application, please contact the Dual Enrollment Coordinator
ĂŰĚŇ´«Ă˝ Transcripts
All ĂŰĚŇ´«Ă˝ course grades will be sent to the student’s high school at the end of the semester for the high school records. If a student needs to request an official transcript to be sent to another institution, they can do so at our request a transcript page.
